Hiking Resume – January 2016

imagePeople are always asking me how many miles I’ve hiked.
“A lot” is the answer, but I never kept records.

However, I decided to put down all the trails I’ve completed. Some are very long like the Appalachian Trail. Others are short but still considered a unique trail.

  1.  A “private walk” in New Zealand means that landowners have created a walk through their land. I didn’t have any special privileges. I just bought a permit from private owners.
  2. If I found the official website for the hike, it’s listed explicitly. If there doesn’t seem to be anything official, the website is linked to the name of the walk.
